Designer/Salesperson

Job Summary

We are looking for a Landscape Designer/Salesperson to join our team. In this position, you must possess a raw talent for sketching and an eye for design in order to create realistic landscape designs by hand, based on our customers' vision and budget. You will suggest where to place flowers, shrubs, trees, patios, sidewalks, and other items on their property. While design skills are important, familiarity with what type of plants thrive in a particular environment is beneficial. You are also responsible for estimating the cost of the project.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Communicate with customers to determine what they want out of your design.
  • Draft an initial design and cost estimate to show the client and get their approval based on their vision and budget.
  • Create a final design and cost that meets the customer vision and budget.
  • Oversee the landscaping team as they bring your design to life.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Always represent the company's best interest maintain, the highest level of integrity and professionalism.
  • Maintain a clean and safe job site and assist foreman and crew leader in keeping an orderly job site.
  • Maintain and care for company equipment, tools, and vehicles.
  • Perform highly physical installation work on a consistent basis.
  • Work as part of a team and take direction.
  • Understand and meet production and product schedule deadlines without sacrificing great customer service or excellent quality.
  • Keep an accurate time card and obtain signatures by management when needed prior to the end of the week.
  • Perform other tasks or projects as assigned/instructed by Foreman and/or crew leader.

Compensation

  • Starting pay $16 per hour.
  • Higher pay is available however is based on experience.
